A good buy. It was more than I expected,the low price and performance specs seemed to good to be.
Watching movies is so much more fun now with the new sub. This subwoofer looks good and sounds great. 50% or higher rattles things in the house. I keep mine at about 25% of volume. It goes back deeper than it appears to in the picture. The dials on the back are handy for controlling the volume.
Good price. Good footprint. A nice addition to a home theater. All speakers are boston acoustics except this and it mixes nicely.
I purchased this while I was considering to spend the big dollars on another SVS sub for the second room. Has all the features of the $big guys. Excellent bass for the price -- Can be very loud without distortion. Now my only choice is to stay with this one or maybe add second one. Excellent value. Does not have that "one note only" sound tha other subs in this price range have. I also own a SVS PB-13 utlra in my main audio room that cost 10x.
not as nice as the Yamaha it replaced; but I could buy several of these for what I paid for the Yamaha; and the Yamama died 1 day after the warranty expired.
